I’ve only just realised how long I haven’t posted for. I don’t care how rainy the weather outside today is, I’m just so so happy. My newly dip dyed hair is currently drenching my robe, making it lilac. The atmosphere in this room is so different from that I can see when I look out of the window. It’s warm in here, I have a lovely song playing (Instincts by Wait For Green) and I have an overall sunny mood. I have done a couple of shoots recently, which have been fun, I even got all fairy winged up for one of them. I have just booked impulse tickets to go see Spector at Sound Control in Manchester on 4th May, me and Kane love them. I’d have thought being American and relatively new they wouldn’t venture here much, but I guess I stand very happily corrected. I’m going to France with Kane in July, I’m looking forward to that greatly. We both have a few exams (difference being, whilst I have 2, Kane has 6) before university is out until September. Happy happy times.
Looking out of the window at the grey sky and drizzle, you would find it hard to believe that I am thinking about the approaching summer and knowing it is going to be amazing. I’m trying to have an overly sunny outlook on life at the moment, and I’m enjoying it!
I’ve not posted for so long! I’ve been really busy, assignments to finish and such like. So this is a quick post before I head to bed, it has been a great couple of weeks, my first proper shoot, amazing weather and now I’m relaxing with my boyfriend. Fun times!
We’ve had some mild sunshine so far this year, but today is absolutely gorgeous and I believe we’re set for this kind of weather until Wednesday!
I’ve got my legs out in the garden, and looking forward to seeing Kane tomorrow :) I love planning my outfits in the summer, its so so easy.
TODAY:
Hollister cardigan
Levi’s short-shorts
New Look pin striped tee
I really want a white jersey maxi dress, that would be so easy to throw on just with a pair of sandals and a denim waistcoat.
Enjoy the sun Brits.
1) Kane - for being the most funny guy I have ever met, for making me happy and for being generally awesome. He gives me a glass half full view on life.
2) Music - songs have the ability to enhance your feelings. Some of the times I am the happiest are when I am singing along to them.
3) Fashion - clothes give us the ability to be someone different every single day. Today I am old lady - cream shirt, knee length skirt and brogues. Obsessing over what I wear is part of who I am, majorly.
4) Florence Welch - this red head is possibly the most immense woman in the world, she opened my eyes to some insanely awesome style and she has the most amazing voice ever. She totally pointed to me at her gig, just sayin’.

I don’t know why because it is such a simple style but I love her hair.
I have the most fantastic boyfriend ever. I don’t care how mushy it sounds, it’s true. I have someone who is the most gorgeous looking man ever, who surprises me with tickets that I really want and can’t buy for myself, who wants to take me to Paris, and who supports me in everything I do. They say men like that don’t exist, well I have proof that they do.
Wow.

I promised a couple more Florence photos, so here they are :) I can’t believe these are photos I took myself, they’re pretty spectacular if I do say so myself.

So the Florence + the Machine gig was last night. I was really excited for it and I knew it was going to be amazing but it was even better than I thought it was going to be. Spector and The Horrors were the support acts. Spector were awesome, their album shall be being purchased by myself or Kane in the coming future! The Horrors divided the crowd slightly, some people loved them and some people looked a little bored. Me, I liked them - but I knew the vast majority of the songs they played so I think I enjoyed it out of familiarity. Their guitarist doesn’t play spectacularly I must say. Florence herself was amazing! The stage set was great, the lights were amazing, and Florence’s outfit, WOW. She played all mine and Kane’s favourites and everyone went wild for her. We were pretty much right at the front too which was great, so I got some awesome photos.
Before she played Rabbit Heart she told the crowd that it was a song for the ladies and that any men in the house who were with a lady they like/love had to raise her in the air on their shoulders, and she waited for people to be put up on shoulders, counting them as they went up. So Kane put me on his shoulders and because we were at the front she noticed me straight away and announced I was girl #11, I told Kane I was quite ecstatic she saw me HAHA :) she kept looking at me through the song aswell, it was literally amazing.
So my idol pointed me out to everyone and looked right at me, she played all the songs we love, and I had the most amazing company of all - my boyfriend :) we had a fantastic night and would definately see her again.

I’ll put more photos up soon, it takes too long resizing them to 5mb because they’re all too big :)
